Clinical Pilates

Pilates was developed in 1880 by German born Joseph Pilates; as a series of exercises to strengthen the body’s central core. There has been a close association between this exercise method and dancers and gymnastic training. Clinical Pilates has been developed by a Physiotherapist, who has a Dance background with the Australian Ballet Company, applying current medical research to modify the exercise program; and thus strengthening the muscles around the spine.


Currently pilates is provided on an individual basis
