Sandy Philipps - Physiotherapist, BPhysio(Hons)BSc

Introducing Sandy Philipps, a co director of The Physiotherapy & Sports Injury clinic Point Cook. Sandy trained as a physiotherapist in London, U.K., graduating with a BSc (Honours) Physiotherapy. She worked extensively in cardiorespiratory physiotherapy including cardiac rehabilitation for heart transplant and heart attack patients, for ten years before changing career direction and pursuing musculoskeletal and orthopedic physiotherapy, specializing in clinical pilates.

She moved to Australia in 2001 and has worked in private practice in Altona, Altona Meadows, Point Cook and Sunbury.  She has undertaken a course of study in clinical pilates with Dance Medicine Australia and has completed a level four qualification.

Personally, she enjoys running and looking after her two daughters in their different activities.
